About the Artist

Portrait of artist Nataliia Soloviova

My name is Natali. I am a contemporary artist from Ukraine, currently living and creating in Hamburg. I create intuitive oil paintings using the impasto technique. Without an academic art education, I paint intuitively, exploring the world and passing the entire process through myself.

I began my creative journey in 2017 after experiencing trauma and loss. It was art that helped me recover and reconnect with myself. Every single piece of my work is created without sketches, drafts, or preliminary drawings. I never know in advance what it will look like in the end.

The painting is born directly on the canvas, stroke by stroke. That is why each of them is unique and exists in only a single copy. I work with a palette knife, generously using oil, color, and texture. For me, flowers are a symbol of the powerful inner energy that lives within each of us, of life itself and prosperity.

My main goal has always been and remains the very process of creation. It is within this process that freedom, the spirit of exploration, joy, and the most honest encounter with oneself are born. I believe that creativity helps a person hear themselves, feel the present moment, and remember that the ability to create is inherent in everyone. That is why on my Instagram, I show not only the finished works but also the entire process of their birth. In the future, I want to share this experience not only through paintings but also through intuitive masterclasses.

My mission is to inspire, to help people discover their inner light, and to color life — at any age and in any situation. It is never too late to discover your talent and do what you love, to do what you simply cannot help but do, without judging your first steps. It is important to remember your uniqueness. We only have one life; unfortunately, there will be no replay or final draft. But the energy of creation, the energy of life, and the energy of love will always light the way for those walking in the darkness.

Step by step toward the light, step by step — toward yourself.

Thank you.
